Client financing

Your lender, your link, beside the bill.

If you already send clients to a lender for home improvement financing, Ridgepole can put that link beside an unpaid invoice or an open proposal in their portal. You choose the lender. Ridgepole is not a lender or a broker, and is not paid for the referral.

How it works

In Settings, turn financing on, paste the application link your lender gave you, and set the smallest amount worth offering it on. From then on, an unpaid invoice or an open proposal in the client’s portal above that amount shows a prompt to look at financing.

When the client clicks, they leave Ridgepole for your lender’s page. Ridgepole passes on the amount owing and a reference number, and nothing else: not their name, not their email, not their address.

What the client is told

Beneath every prompt the client reads, in plain words, that they are going to a website you chose, that Ridgepole is not a lender or broker, is not paid for the referral, does not make credit decisions and does not see their application, and that rates, terms and any credit check are up to the lender.

Keeping track

Every click is recorded as a referral against the job, with the amount. When your lender tells you how it went, record the outcome on the referral: sent to lender, approved, declined, funded or expired, so the job shows where the money is coming from.

Where it never appears

The prompt shows only in the client portal, beside something the client already owes or is being asked to approve. Nobody in your office can start an application in a client’s name from inside Ridgepole.

Built for how it works in Canada

The lender you already work with

Use the lender you already trust. Ridgepole has no lending partner of its own, so nobody is steering your clients anywhere but where you send them.

Only the amount and a reference leave Ridgepole

Nothing that identifies your client is passed to the lender by Ridgepole. What the client shares on the lender’s own page is between them and the lender.

Questions builders ask

Which plan includes the financing link?

Enterprise.

Who handles the application?

Your lender: the application, the credit decision and the terms. Ridgepole is not a lender or a broker. It shows your lender’s link and records that the client clicked it.

Does Ridgepole earn anything from it?

No. There is no referral fee and no arrangement with any lender.

Can I choose which jobs show it?

You set a minimum amount, and the prompt shows only on unpaid invoices and open proposals at or above it. Below that, the client sees nothing.

How do I keep track of who applied?

Every click is a referral on the job, with the amount. Record what your lender tells you against it, approved, declined or funded, and the job shows where it stands.
