Delete your account

You can delete your Ridgepole account at any time. This page says how, and what happens to what you sent.

With the Ridgepole phone app

  1. Open Ridgepole on your phone and sign in.
  2. Go to Me and tap Delete my account.
  3. Read what goes and what stays, then confirm. Your account is deleted at once.

This works even if your company has deactivated your account: the screen that says your account isn’t active still offers Delete my account.

If you own the company

An owner deletes their account by closing the company: sign in on the website and go to the Close company page. It cancels the subscription, signs everyone out and deletes your account. If another owner will keep running the company, you can delete just your own account from the phone app instead.

Without the app

Send us the form below and we will delete your account. We reply from support@ridgepole.ca to check the request really comes from you, then delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
  • Your sign-in: you can no longer sign in to Ridgepole with it.
  • The location saved on your shifts, your phone’s details, your notification settings and your notifications.
  • Anything still waiting on your phone that was never sent.

What your company keeps

The hours, daily logs, photos, deficiencies and safety reports you sent belong to the company you sent them to, as its business records. They stay with the company, shown under “Former team member”, not your name. When a company is closed, its records are kept for 30 days and then deleted, except invoices, payment and tax records, which the law requires us to keep for six years.
