Custom forms

Your checklists, on the crew’s phones, signed and filed on the job.

Daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, pre-pour checks, equipment inspections. Build them the way your company does them, and every completed one is filed on the job with photos, a signature and the time it was done.

Five forms to start from

Every account starts with five forms you can use as they are or change: Daily Safety Inspection, Toolbox Talk Record, Pre-Pour Checklist, Equipment Inspection and Quality Walkthrough. Shape them into your own safety program, in your own words.

Building a form

Add the questions in order. Make any of them required. Show a question only when an earlier answer calls for it, so “Describe the hazard” only appears after someone answers yes to “Hazard found?”.

  • Section headings, short and long text, numbers, dates and times
  • Dropdowns, multiple choice, checkboxes, yes or no, and ratings
  • Photo fields, up to 20 photos each
  • A signature, drawn with a finger on the phone

Filling it in on site

The crew opens the form on the job from a phone, fills it in, adds photos and signs. If the phone offers a location, it is stored with the submission.

Records that hold up

Change a form that has already been filled in and Ridgepole saves it as a new version. Every past submission keeps the exact questions it was answered against, so a toolbox talk from March still reads the way it did in March.

Print any submission to PDF, or export a form’s submissions to CSV.

Built for how it works in Canada

Your province’s safety rules, your forms

What a safety inspection must cover is set by your province and your safety association, not by a US template. Build the form to match what your inspector or your COR auditor asks for.

Signed, dated and kept on the job

When someone asks for proof that a toolbox talk happened, it is on the job, with the date, the signature and the photos.

Questions builders ask

Can I match the forms to my COR program?

Yes. The starter forms are a starting point. Your safety association or auditor decides what your program needs; change the questions to match, and every submission after that uses your version.

If I change a form, what happens to old submissions?

Nothing. Changing a form that has been used creates a new version, and old submissions keep the questions they were answered against.

Who can build forms?

The owner, admins and project managers. Field users fill them in.
